Sun, surf and sugarcane fields! Come with us as we cycle to the lovely NSW town of Murwillumbah via beautiful Gold Coast beaches. We'll ride from Varsity Lakes train station to Burleigh Heads Surf Club for breakfast (or a quick swim, if you're game, for those who don't want to eat) then meander down to the border. After negotiating Sexton Hill we'll pause at Kingscliff for lunch and continue on to Cabarita where we'll leave the smell of salt air and head over the range to Condong and on to Murwillumbah.

Saturday night is spent in a local pub with great food and in the morning, after breakfast at the Flamingo Cafe, return via a slightly different route to Chinderah (morning tea), Tallebudgera Creek (lunch) and finish up back at Varsity Lakes train station so you can catch the train home.
